Treatment Objectives

The objectives of Stretch Mark treatment are to:

  • Reduce the visible signs of stretch marks and scars
  • Reduce scar size
  • Normalise skin tissue colour

Stretch Mark Treatment Overview

A combination of more than a dozen vitamins, minerals and amino acids, derived from herb and vegetable extracts, are introduced into and below the scar tissue where new cells are formed. These non-toxic ingredients already exist in the body and have vital functions. One of the key ingredients is the organic mineral Silica that has the natural function of correcting irregular tissue in the body. Silica helps to correct the damaged scar tissue from within. Other ingredients used include anti-oxidant vitamins that encourage the production of collagen and elastin, the structural components of connective tissue, and a protein that that enhances the metabolic and nutritional processes of the cells.

Stretch marks and scars that are still red or pink respond better to the treatment than older, whiter ones.

Patient Suitability

Both males and females of any age. New stretch marks respond sooner than old marks, particularly suited after pregnancy.

Recovery Time

This treatment should not be uncomfortable and you can resume your daily activities immediately after treatment.

Typical Course Durations

One 30 minute treatment per week for seven weeks is recommended. Pink and reddish scars respond quickly to treatment but you should see a noticeable improvement in pink and white scars after 1 to 3 treatments

Contra Indications

Eporex treatments should not be carried out if the client is fitted with a pacemaker, has recently had a serious medical condition, is pregnant or breast feeding, or suffers from severe asthma or epilepsy or has a metal implant. A full consultation is given free before treatment commences.

Risks

There are virtually no risks with this treatment. There have been no serious adverse side effects reported to date. Very rarely an allergic reaction to one of the substances might occur, producing slight redness which will be noticeable within minutes of the treatment, in which case, you will not be able to continue treatment.

How long will it last?

Years, but this does not prevent new stretch marks appearing.

Cost

  • Initial consultation £ FREE
  • Each treatment £ 85.00

For those who commit to the recommended course of seven treatments, paid at first visit, the price is reduced to £495.00 for the course of seven treatments which usually need to be at weekly intervals.
