The Henry Shaw Clinic provides a variety of beauty treaments from our clinic Winscombe North Somerset (near Bristol). We have sourced the most natural, and often totally organic, products available to enhance your beauty as naturally as possible. These beauty treatments include Eyebrow shape and tidy, Eyelash Tint, Waxing, Manicures, Pedicures and Facials.

Eyebrow shape and tidy

With the use of tweezers we shape and remove unwanted hair from around the brow area and between the brow to open up your eyes and provide more shape to your face. A repeat visit may be necessary every 4-6 weeks.

Eyelash Tint

Just imagine - no mascara, swimming without getting 'panda' eyes - an eyelash tint is just what you need. Choose from five colours to enhance your eye colour and definition. You can also increase the shape of your brow and definition with a brow tint - no more brow pencils! Results last between 4 - 6 weeks. Please note that a patch test is required 24 hours prior to treatment.

Waxing

Using warm wax we gently place the wax on unwanted hair, apply a material strip over the waxed area and then quickly remove it together with the unwanted hair.The discomfort felt is only minor. Results last between 4 to 6 weeks. This treatment obviates the need for shaving and as an added bonus the more treatments you have the finer the hair becomes, making it less noticeable when it grows back. Areas that can be treated are: face, chest, back, legs, arms, underarms, bikini, toes, feet and hands.

Manicures

A manicure can improve nail and skin condition. Nails are gently shaped then the nail plate cleaned. Cuticles are massaged to soften and moisturise them.

The cuticles are then gently pushed back and trimmed if necessary. Nails are then filed over and you will receive a luxury hand and arm massage to relieve tension. Nail polish is optional at no extra cost.

We provide a paraffin-wax hand and arm treatment with luxuriant warm wax to soften any weather-damaged skin and to give a smooth appearance and texture.

Pedicures

A treat for your feet. Firstly we will check you feet for any problems that may prevent the treatment being performed. Your feet are then treated to a relaxing soak.

Feet are worked on one at a time, cuticles are softened and the nails shaped. Cuticles can then be trimmed and the lower legs and feet treated to an invigorating exfoliating scrub to remove the dead skin cells. Any hard skin on the soles of the feet can be sloughed off using a pedicure file or foot rasp. The lower legs and feet are now gently massaged to reduce the build up of toxins and to reduce water retention.

We use only organic and natural products for all our treatments.

Facials

Our deluxe facials are treatments anyone can indulge in as all skins can suffer from blocked pores, sluggish circulation, and poor nutrition. All our facials are tailor made to suit each individual client and use only top quality organic and natural products.

A facial consists of an holistic consultation to ensure the best possible results for you. Then follows a cleansing of the skin, toning to refresh, exfoliation to remove dead skin cells, a neck, shoulder and facial massage to release tensions and increase the circulation.
